In recent decades, visual artist Gonneke Verschoor has developed her own imaginary world of button tapestries. They are wall-hung objects with dozens, if not hundreds of ceramic and porcelain buttons on a (stainless) steel background. In this book she shows that her work is not only rhythmic and idiosyncratic.
